We’re big fans of Omakase and have also been to the Culver City location, which is just as good. Both spots consistently deliver an incredible experience. The sushi is amazing- super fresh, beautifully made, and you can tell a lot of care goes into every bite. The Santa Monica location keeps that same high standard we’ve come to expect, with great service and a chill but still elevated vibe. It’s one of those spots you just know you’re going to leave happy every time. Highly recommend if you love really good sushi and a solid omakase experience.

Brother Sushi has quickly become one of my favorite sushi spots. The fish was incredibly fresh, the rolls were well-balanced, and every dish tasted carefully prepared. Service was friendly, attentive, and efficient even during busy hours. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere, but the quality of the food easily rivals much more expensive places. Great value for the price and consistently excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good food, good service. I wish they had a larger selection of gluten free options, they appear to use red rice vinegar in the sushi rice which eliminates a lot of the menu. All things fried were subject to heavy cross contaminated which got rid of a lot of the 'gf optional' items as well. Nevertheless what we were able to eat was fantastic as always and our waitress was extremely friendly and proactive on our journey to figure out what we could and could not order. The food is clean and well done. Other than a guests celiacs limiting our options, my only negatives were are lack of parking (no lot, or valet) and sake pricing being absolutely unreasonably high. I understand it's Santa Monica but still ridiculous markups on alcohol. Atmosphere is nice and well decorated. It doesn't have a view but it's well done for what they were working with.

Upscale sushi restaurant. Friendly and attentive service. Our waitress recommended the miso sea bass wraps, which were delicious. We’ve been here three times and each experience has been a wonderful dinner. It’s pricey, but you get what you spend - high quality sushi with exceptional service in a serene Japanese ambiance. We recommend their plum wine - it’s sweet, enjoyable, and pungent in plum flavor and served chill. Our first time we did the Omakasi prefixed meal, which showcased unique sushi and dishes. It’s expensive. We went Nov2024, it was $200+ per person. We ended up ordering another roll of spicy tuna at the end of the courses. They were generous and gave me a dessert with a candle as we celebrated my birthday ◡̈ The second and third time, we ate Al la carte. As mentioned before, we recommend the miso sea bass wraps. The truffled Yama Imo Fries are worth ordering. Nigiri orders and sushi rolls can add up in price. Overall, The Brothers Sushi has been our go to spot to celebrate special occasions.
